What is HFSA?

HFSA (Hutchinson Figure Skating Association) is a parent volunteer organization that governs and supports the levels of Freestyle 1-10.   HFSA supports the Holiday on Ice show, the January Skating Exhibition, and also the Annual Ice Skating Show.    The city of Hutchinson’s skating program, through the Park and Recreation department, manages the skating program for levels Tots through Delta.  We are two separate organizations, but we work closely together to provide a quality skating program for all skaters.

 HFSA Membership Fee

Each skater pays a $25.00 membership fee. Additional skaters in the same family will pay $15.00 each. The fee will cover the following:

  • $10.00 for the administrative costs HFSA newsletter, notes, etc.
  • $5.00 for the ice show fee.
  • $10.00 for International Skating Institute (ISI) annual membership. ISI annual membership is required for all skaters in the levels FS1 and above to register ISI tests that a skater passes. An ISI number is also required for any skater who competes individually or in a precision team for ISI competitions.
  • Payment/Suggestion Box

A lock box is located in the west arena HFSA locker room for you to deposit payments or to offer suggestions/comments for improvement of HFSA.
